Burnley v Brighton: Lineup Prediction

This is my lineup for Burnley away...

Since this is the final matchday, I expect Potter to give other players a chance to impress.

My predicted lineup is formulated mostly on that regard.

Defense

Dan Burn and Tarik Lamptey have established themselves as the starting fullbacks. So, I believe Potter will give his other players (Montoya, Bernardo) a chance at Turf Moor.

Adam Webster's performance in lockdown has been solid, and might have cemented his position in the starting eleven. So, it would make sense for Duffy to get a chance on what could be his last game for the Albion.

Midfield

Normally, Propper would start alongside Dale Stephens. However, the Dutchman's recent poor performances may result in him getting another chance.

Its looking clear that Yves Bissouma will have a starting place in the lineup next season. I expect him to start. His role in disrupting the opponent's attack is massive.

Potter could opt for two attacking midfielders, but Aaron Mooy has already shown his talents this season, so has Pascal Gross. So, I believe he will only go for one through the center.

Its the new signing Alexis Mac Allister that has many fans interested, and should be given the start to demonstrate his abilities against a defensive Burnley side.

Attack

Both Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Solly March have struggled for regular first-team football this season, and should have the chance to impress at Burnley.

Leandro Trossard has shown his talented abilities on the ball, and if not starting, will surely come on and make a substitute impact.

Neal Maupay has scored ten goals so far, and will surely have a place in Potters' plans next season.

Its our beloved Glenn Murray that may be seeing the end of his time with the Albion. The thirty-six year old has two goals and one assist in all competitions this year, albeit without many chances.

We will have to wait and see if he will have a spot next season. He has featured mostly as a substitute this campaign.
